Change account picture
- If you haven't already, sign in to your Chromebook.
- Click the status area, where your account picture appears.
- Click Settings.
- In the "People" section, click your account picture.
- Change your account picture. You have four choices:
- Use your Google Account photo
- Use one of the available icons
- Choose a file: Click the Folder .
- Take a photo with your camera: Click the Camera , then click Take photo . To retake your photo, click the photo, then click Trash .
- Click Done.
Hide account picture from sign-in screen
You can hide Google Account names and pictures on the sign-in screen if:
- Your Google Account is designated as the owner of your Chromebook.
- Your device is not managed.
Follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Chromebook with the owner account.
- Click the status area, where your account picture appears.
- Click Settings.
- In the "People" section, click Manage other users.
- Uncheck the box next to Show usernames and photos on the sign-in screen.
- Click Done.
Now, you'll see a generic "Sign in" step on the sign-in screen.
